Highly acclaimed British singer-songwriter Adele has released her sophomore album, 21 which shows her growth as a person from her teenage years to adulthood.

Adele has first captured the attention of the world through her first album, 19, which showcased her struggles with love, life and everything in between. Some people might call it bitter, some might call it dark and passionate but the common reaction is just the same– her songs speak the truth and they speak to most of us.

Her first album has won her Grammys, including Best New Artist, and with her second one, much has been anticipated. Even the TV series Glee has done a medley of her songs including Rumor Has It and Someone Like You.

She has displayed great writing skills and she definitely has a unique voice which are her assets in rising as a star in the music world. She also used her personal experiences that is why her songs are marvelously melodic and heavy.
